I purchased what I thought were bicycling shorts, but received shorts for triatheletes, which do not have the chamois padding that cycling shorts have. There was nothing in the description of the shorts that said they were only for triatheletes. They did have the acronym Tri in the items name, but I had no idea that this was meant for triatheletes. They need to have a description of the item for novice cyclers like me. Now I have an expensive pair of shorts I will never use. Maybe I should enter a triathelon for men over 60 years old!!!

The shorts arrived on time, it was comfortable, padding was good but not excellent, the thigh part of the short was a little small for X-large.

I just finished my first sprint triathlon and the shorts were great! Can’t wait to do another one and use them again.

Overall, shorts are good for triathlons. They don’t hold too much water and dried fairly quickly. The thigh seems though are coming undone – like the elastic quality is gone and they are starting to curl up. Very strange after 3 uses.

I wore these in my first triathlon – 1/4 mile swim, 6 mile bike, 2 mile run. At first I was worried about chafing from the seam running down the middle front based on another review but after completing the tri there was no chafing at all. The shorts were very comfortable and dried out quickly after the swim. I’m 5′10″ 190 pounds and normally wear a size 35×30. I ordered the size large shorts and they seemed just a little long but I think the mediums would have been way to small. I rolled the waist over to make them fit better. I would recommend these shorts to others.
