I was looking for 3 things in a new computer: night capability, built in HR monitor, & no wireless (I long ago lost patience with the many issues that I’ve run into with wireless). This seemed to be one the very few that qualifies. It appears to be a solid, high quality product that works very well. At first, however, I was about to return it, as I thought the night light function was defective (thinking it would be a constant illumination during the preset hours). It turns out that anytime you press button 4 the light comes on for 3 seconds. During the smartlight hours (chosen during setup), the light comes on for 3 seconds when any button is pressed. So it’s not a constant source of light. But it served my purpose reasonably well, and I’m sure a constant light would kill the battery pretty fast. The included HR strap is very comfortable, & works with all my other HR monitors. Curiously, their HR straps do not work with the Vetta. It was straightforward to install & setup. We will have to see how it holds up.
